Exterior Condenser

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
CAUTION:
  • If the condenser assembly was replaced, add a suitable amount of compressor oil to the compressor. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (HEV)>COMPRESSOR OIL>ADJUSTMENT .
  • Replace the O-rings with new parts, and then apply compressor oil to install completely.
  1. Install the bracket - condenser.

    Tightening torque: 

    5.4 N.m (0.6 kgf-m, 4.0 ft-lb)

  2. Install the condenser assembly.

    Tightening torque: 

    7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

  3. Install the LOW solenoid valve. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (HEV)>SOLENOID VALVE>INSTALLATION>LOW PRESSURE SOLENOID VALVE .
  4. Install the hose - pressure suction valve. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (HEV)>HOSE AND PIPE>INSTALLATION>LOW PRESSURE VALVE HOSE .
  5. Install the radiator assembly. Ref. to COOLING (H4DO (HEV))>RADIATOR>INSTALLATION .
  6. Install the bumper face - front. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FRONT BUMPER>INSTALLATION .
  7. Connect the battery ground terminal. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  8. Charge refrigerant. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (HEV)>REFRIGERANT CHARGING PROCEDURE>PROCEDURE .
