Radiator Fan and Fan Motor Assembly: Removal

- Remove the collector cover.
- Carefully pull up the rear of collector cover at two positions (A).
- Carefully pull up the front of collector cover at two positions (B) while moving it forward.
- Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to
BATTERYNOTE: Repair Contents.
- Remove the air intake duct. Ref. to REMOVAL , Air Intake Duct.
- Drain approximately 3.0 L (3.2 US qt, 2.6 Imp qt) of coolant. Ref. to DRAINING OF ENGINE COOLANT , REPLACEMENT, Engine Coolant.
- Disconnect the connector (A) and connector (B) from the radiator fan harness.
- Remove the CVTF radiator inlet hose and CVTF radiator outlet hose from the clips of the radiator fan shroud.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Remove the reservoir tank. Ref. to REMOVAL , Reservoir Tank.
- Disconnect the radiator inlet hose LH and radiator inlet hose RH.
- Release the claw (A) on the radiator upper side, and incline the top of the radiator fan & fan motor assembly to the engine side.
- Remove the radiator fan & fan motor assembly from vehicle body.
