Control Panel: Removal

CAUTION: Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". < Ref. to CAUTION , General Description. >
  1. Disconnect the ground cable from battery and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. < Ref. to BATTERY , NOTE, Note. >
    NOTE: For the 12 volt engine restart battery of HEV model, disconnect the ground terminal from 12V engine restart battery sensor.
  2. Remove the cover assembly - instrument panel LWR driver. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Instrument Panel Lower Cover. >
  3. Remove the knee airbag module. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Knee Airbag Module. >
  4. Remove the glove box. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Glove Box. >
  5. Remove the center grille assembly. < Ref. to CENTER GRILLE ASSEMBLY , REMOVAL, Air Vent Grille. >
  6. Remove the audio assembly or navigation assembly. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Audio. >
  7. Remove the screws to remove the heater control assembly.

    NOTE: For manual A/C model, refer to the instructions above to remove.
