Section 11 (Engine Cooling System - Cooling (H6DO - 3.6L DOHC)): Radiator: Removal

CAUTION:
The radiator is pressurized when the engine and radiator are hot. Wait until engine and radiator cools down before working on the radiator.
- Remove the collector cover.NOTE: Follow the steps below when removing the collector cover.
- Lift up (A) in two positions at the rear.
- Moving (B) in two positions at the front toward the vehicle, lift them up.
- Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
- Lift up the vehicle.
- Remove the under cover. Ref. to REMOVAL , Front Under Cover.
- Drain engine coolant completely. Ref. to DRAINING OF ENGINE COOLANT , REPLACEMENT, Engine Coolant.
- Disconnect the integrated connector of radiator main fan & fan motor and radiator sub fan & fan motor.
- Disconnect the radiator lower hose from the radiator lower.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Remove the air intake duct. Ref. to REMOVAL , Air Intake Duct.
- Remove the grille bracket.NOTE: Remove ten clips when removing the grille bracket.
- Remove the radiator main fan & fan motor and radiator sub fan & fan motor. Ref. to REMOVAL , Radiator Main Fan and Fan Motor. Ref. to REMOVAL , Radiator Sub Fan and Fan Motor.
- Disconnect the ATF hoses A and B from the radiator.NOTE: Plug the ATF hoses A and B to prevent ATF from leaking.
- Remove the radiator upper brackets.
- Lift the radiator up and away from vehicle.
- Remove the radiator lower cushion.
