Section 6 (Cooling System (H4SO)): Radiator: Removal

- Set the vehicle on a lift.
- Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
- Lift-up the vehicle.
- Remove the under cover.
- Drain engine coolant completely. < Ref. to , DRAINING OF ENGINE COOLANT , REPLACEMENT, Engine Coolant. >
- Disconnect the connector (A) of radiator main fan motor and connector (B) of sub fan motor.

- Disconnect the radiator outlet hose from thermostat cover.
- Disconnect the ATF cooler hoses from ATF pipes. (AT model) Plug the ATF pipe to prevent ATF leaks.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Disconnect the over flow hose.
- Remove the reservoir tank. < Ref. to , REMOVAL , Reservoir Tank. >
- Remove the hood stay holder.
- Remove the air intake duct. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Air Intake Duct. >
- Disconnect the radiator inlet hose from engine.
- Remove the radiator upper brackets.
- Lift the radiator up and away from vehicle.
