Radiator Sub Fan and Fan Motor: Removal

- Remove the collector cover.
- Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
- Lift-up the vehicle.
- Remove the under cover.
- Disconnect the sub fan motor connector (B).
- Remove the heat shield cover from radiator. (AT model)
- Drain the coolant about 1 Lambda (1.06 US qt, 0.88 Imp qt). < Ref. to , DRAINING OF ENGINE COOLANT , REPLACEMENT, Engine Coolant. >
- Remove the ATF hose from the clip of radiator sub fan motor assembly. (AT model)
- Lower the vehicle.
- Remove the air intake duct.
- Disconnect the over flow hose.
- Remove the over flow pipe.
- Remove the reservoir tank. < Ref. to , REMOVAL , Reservoir Tank. >
- Remove the mounting bolts of radiator sub fan motor assembly.
- Disconnect the radiator inlet hose (A) from radiator.
- Remove the hood stay holder (B).
- Remove the radiator sub fan motor assembly from vehicle.
