Remove/install oil spray nozzles (pistons) - AR18.00-P-4000CD

	Remove/install
1.1	Remove oil pan bottom section	Model 172, 204 (except 204.9), 212 except 4MATIC Model 207, 218	AR01.45-P-7555CD
1.1	Remove oil pan bottom section	Model 221	AR01.45-P-7555SYZ
1.2	Remove oil pan	Model 166.0	AR01.45-P-7500GQA
		Model 204, 212 only 4MATIC	AR01.45-P-7500OMD
		Model 221	AR01.45-P-7500SXA
2	Remove oil suction pipe (8) Screw/bolts (7) and the oil spray protection (8a)		*BA18.10-P-1002-01O
3	Detach oil suction pipe (8) and Oil spray protection (8a) downwards	Replace O-ring (9) for oil suction pipe (8). First insert oil suction pipe (8) fully into oil pan (10) and then tighten.
4	Remove oil spray nozzles (2)	To do this loosen bolt (1), remove oil spray nozzle (2) and cover oil feed bores. The oil spray nozzle (2) must immerse in the cutout in the piston crown (3) on the piston crown.
4	Remove oil spray nozzles (2)		*BA18.00-P-1001-01I
5	Inspect/clean oil ducts	Blow through oil galleries in direction of flow oil with compressed air.
6	Install in the reverse order
7	Check engine oil level	The engine oil level must lie between "Min" and "Max". Engine damage can occur otherwise.
	Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. 8	Check engine for leaks	With engine running.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
