Remove/install oil level switch - AR18.40-P-4115SXI

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
DANGER Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.		 AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
1 Remove oil pan bottom section Model 207, 212.02/22, 221.02/12
Model 218 except 218.39		 AR01.45-P-7555SXI
Model 212.08/28/09/29
Model 218.39		 AR01.45-P-7555CWY
Model 221.08/18 AR01.45-P-7555SYZ
2 Disconnect electrical connector (1) at oil level check switch (S43)    
3 Remove screw/bolts (2) on oil level check switch (S43) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA18.40-P-1003-01M 
4 Remove retaining clamp (3)    
5 Remove oil level check switch (S43) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Install new gasket  
6 Install in the reverse order    
INSPECT Checking     
7 Check/correct engine oil level IMPORTANT Check engine oil level with engine at operating temperature. AR18.00-P-3035-01SXI 
FLUID SPECIFICATION Without code (474) Particulate filter *BF18.00-P-1001-01A 
FLUID SPECIFICATION With code (474) Particulate filter *BF18.00-P-1001-01S 
8 Check for leaks with engine running IMPORTANT Carry out a visual inspection only.
