Remove/install bottom part of oil pan - AR01.45-P-7555SXI

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
DANGER Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running Secure vehicle to prevent it moving off. Wear closed and close-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
1 Remove bottom section of soundproofing Model 221 without code (Z07) Top protection
Model 207, 212, 218
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Only install bottom sections of soundproofing after engine test run.		 AR61.20-P-1105SX

2 Drain/collect engine oil INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace sealing ring of drain plug.  
    Model 207, 212, 218 AP18.00-P-0101EWO
    Model 221 AP18.00-P-0101SXI
3 Detach bracket from steering line Model 221  
4 Disconnect electrical connector on oil temperature sensor Engine 642.8  
5 Remove bolts (2) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA01.45-P-1003-01Q 
6 Detach oil pan bottom section (1) Loctite 5970 sealant *BR00.45-Z-1013-01A 
IMPORTANT Notes on sealant path for oil pan   AH01.45-P-0001-01OM
CLEAN Clean     
7 Clean sealing surfaces NOTES Do not use any sharp-edged tools and also no grinding paper otherwise the sealing surfaces will be damaged. AR01.00-P-0050-01A
    Loctite 7200 *BR00.45-Z-1038-04A 
    Loctite 7063 cleaning spray (150 ml) *BR00.45-Z-1046-04A 
INSPECT Checking     
8 Check sealing surface on oil pan bottom section (1) for flatness    
9 Install in the reverse order    
10 Check engine oil level NOTES In order to avoid measurement errors, vehicle must be parked on an even surface. AR18.00-P-3035-01SXI
    IMPORTANT Inspect engine oil level about 5 min. after switching off warm engine  
    FLUID SPECIFICATION Without code (474) Particulate filter *BF18.00-P-1001-01A 
    FLUID SPECIFICATION With code (474) Particulate filter *BF18.00-P-1001-01S 
11 Check for leaks with engine running
