2	Remove impact absorber	MODEL 207, 212 as of model year 2014 with CODE 233 (DISTRONIC PLUS) MODEL 207, 212 as of model year 2014 with CODE 258 (COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST)

3	Unclip mounting frame bow (2) from the front bumper (3) using a suitable tool
4	Release and disconnect Electrical connection (1)
5	Remove DISTRONIC (DTR) sensor on the bumper at the front left (B29/2) or DISTRONIC (DTR) sensor on the bumper at the front right (B29/3) or COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST controller unit (A90)	Note installation position of the DISTRONIC (DTR) sensor on the bumper at the front left (B29/2) or the DISTRONIC (DTR) sensor on the bumper at the front right (B29/3) or COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST controller unit (A90).
6	Install in the reverse order
7	Perform commissioning using the diagnostic system	Only when removing DISTRONIC (DTR) sensor on the bumper at the front left (B29/2) or DISTRONIC (DTR) sensor on the bumper at the front right (B29/3) or COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST controller unit (A90)
	Perform commissioning using the diagnostic system		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
8	Read out fault memory using the diagnostic system and delete
			AD00.00-P-2000-04A
