Remove/install coolant thermostat - AR20.10-P-2460CMG

	Remove/install
	Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
1	Remove switchover valve		AR14.30-P-7255CMG
2	Remove expansion reservoir of the power steering and set aside with the connected oil lines		AR46.25-P-1000CMG
3	Remove bottom engine compartment paneling	Install the lower engine compartment paneling only after the leak test.
4	Drain coolant at radiator		AR20.00-P-1142CMG
	Notes on coolant		AH20.00-N-2080-01A
5	Detach coolant hose (1) from coolant thermostat housing (2)	Install new O-ring.
6	Remove overflow hose from coolant thermostat housing (2) to coolant expansion reservoir and place to one side
7	Release and disconnect electrical connector on coolant thermostat (Y110)
8	Unscrew bolt (2a) and pull out coolant thermostat housing (2) with coolant thermostat from timing case cover	The coolant thermostat and coolant thermostat housing (2) are a single unit. The coolant thermostat must not be taken out of coolant thermostat housing (2) as it can get damaged in the process. Install new O-ring.

9	Install in the reverse order

	Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. 11	Do an engine test run and check for leaks
