	Remove/install
	Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing coolant.	Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. 1	Remove engine trim panel	Ensure correct seating of the engine cover. Model 207, 212, 218

2	Remove impact plate if necessary	The impact plate is installed in front of the belt drive.

4	Disconnect electrical connector (5) on the coolant pump switchover valve (Y133)	For vehicles with a switchable coolant pump
5	Detach vacuum hoses (4) For vehicles with a switchable coolant pump
6	Unclip coolant pump switchover valve (Y133) on mounting frame bow (3)	For vehicles with a switchable coolant pump
7	Remove coolant pump switchover valve (Y133) upwards	For vehicles with a switchable coolant pump
8	Remove poly-V belt	Model 207, 212, 218	AR13.20-P-0001OGE
8	Remove poly-V belt	Model 221	AR13.22-P-1202SXI
9	Drain coolant	Model 207	AR20.00-P-1142CW

		Model 221 Catch coolant in a suitable vessel.	AR20.00-P-1142SXI
10	Unscrew bolts (2) of coolant pump (1)	If aluminum bolts have been installed at the works, replace these with steel bolts.

11	Take out coolant pump (1)	Install new sealing ring.
12	Clean sealing surfaces
13	Install in the reverse order
