Remove/install belt drive components - AR13.20-P-0001OGE

	Removing
	Risk of injury caused by moving parts that can pinch, crush or, in extreme cases, even sever extremities	No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating range of the mechanism when moving components.	AS00.00-Z-0009-01A
1	Remove cylinder head cover trim
2	Remove engine intake air duct upstream of the air filter housing on both sides
3	Remove bolts (2) and also cover (1) in front of the belt drive upwards.
4	Remove engine charge air channel upstream of charge air cooler		AR09.41-P-8623OGE
5	Remove screws/bolts (3) and remove carrier (4)
	Remove/install poly-V belt (5)
6	Loosen poly-V belt (5) and remove	To do this turn poly-V belt tensioning device (6) at studs (7) in the direction of the arrow and lock in place with a pin. Do not use wax or similar products, as this may cause poly-V belt (5) to slip.
	Pin for locking poly-V belt tensioning device		WF58.50-P-1325-02A
	Checking
7	Check profile of belt pulley and poly-V belt tensioning device (6) for damage and soiling
8	Check poly-V belt (5) for wear and damage and replace if necessary	Put poly-V belt (5) in place according to the routing diagram. Pull out pin and turn poly-V belt tensioning device (6) at the lug (7) in a direction opposite to the direction of the arrow until the poly-V belt (5) is tensioned by the spring force. 9	Install in the reverse order
	Remove/install poly-V belt tensioning device (6)
10	Tighten poly-V belt tensioning device (6) and lock in place with a pin	To do this turn poly-V belt tensioning device (6) at studs (7) in the direction of the arrow and lock in place with a pin.

11	Remove bolt (8) and poly-V belt tensioning device (6)		*BA13.25-P-1001-01T
	Checking
12	Check poly-V belt tensioning device (6) for damage and soiling; replace if necessary
13	Remove pin and detension poly-V belt tensioning device (6)	Only when replacing the poly-V belt tensioning device (6).
14	Install in the reverse order
	Remove/install guide pulleys (9)
15	Remove guide pulleys (9)	To do this remove cover on the guide pulley (9) and remove underlying bolt.
15	Remove guide pulleys (9)		*BA13.25-P-1002-01T
16	Install in the reverse order
	Install
17	Install carrier (4)
18	Install engine charge air channel upstream of charge air cooler		AR09.41-P-8623OGE
19	Install cover (1) for belt drive
20	Install engine intake air duct upstream of the air filter housing on both sides
21	Install trim panel of cylinder head cover
	Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
22	Carry out engine test run
