4 Remove cover (10) from left or right suspension strut (40)
5 Detach pressure line (40a) from suspension strut (40). INSTALLATION NOTES
When reinstalling the old suspension strut (40), make sure that the pressure line (40a) is carefully screwed on to the plastic thread.
Otherwise, if not screwed on properly, the plastic thread will be damaged thereby causing irreparable damage to the suspension strut (40).
IMPORTANT Seal pressure line (40a) with blind plugs during repair work.
When replacing the suspension strut (40):

Detach old pressure line connection to the pressure line (40a). To do this break open the clamping ring, detach pressure line connection and insert the pressure line (40a) up to the marking in the new pressure line connection. Pull back pressure line (40a) a short distance so that the peripheral retaining edges in the inside of the clamping ring engage in the line outer surface.
If pressure line (40a) or pressure line connection is damaged or leaky:

Repair pressure line (40a) or damaged pressure line connection.
