Correct rear inclination angle (∠ 3)
To correct the articulation angle at the rear axle differential, appropriate shims (arrow) are available as replacement parts.
The spacer washers are available with a thickness of 1 mm to 4 mm. Each 1 mm of eccentricity changes the articulation angle by approx. 0.25° to 0.33°.
- Support rear axle differential.
- Unscrew bolt connecting rear axle differential to front differential mount.
- Depending on the correction, insert the appropriate shim together with the bolt.
- Tighten bolt.
Observe specified tightening torque.
- Remove transmission jack and transmission platform.
