Correcting rear articulation angle at rear axle center assembly - AR41.10-P-0086-05CW

Correct rear inclination angle (∠ 3) 

IMPORTANT To correct the articulation angle at the rear axle differential, appropriate shims (arrow) are available as replacement parts.

The spacer washers are available with a thickness of 1 mm to 4 mm. Each 1 mm of eccentricity changes the articulation angle by approx. 0.25° to 0.33°.

  1. Support rear axle differential.
  2. Unscrew bolt connecting rear axle differential to front differential mount.
  3. Depending on the correction, insert the appropriate shim together with the bolt.
  4. Tighten bolt.

    IMPORTANT Observe specified tightening torque.

  5. Remove transmission jack and transmission platform.
