Remove/install inlet port shutoff - AR09.20-P-1314CO

ENGINE 642 in MODEL 204, 207, 212, 218, 222

REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove engine cover    
2 Unbolt bracket (3) Only on model 204  
3 Remove turbocharger MODEL 204 AR09.40-P-6020CO
    MODEL 207, 212, 218, 222 AR09.40-P-6020OGE 
4 Remove oil supply connection fittings for turbocharger MODEL 204 AR09.40-P-6023CO
    MODEL 207, 212, 218, 222 AR09.40-P-6023SXI 
5 Loosen engine cable duct (1) Except model 222
IMPORTANT Remove screw/bolts (2) and place engine cable duct (1) to one side.		  
6 Disconnect electrical connection from intake port shutoff actuator motor (M55)    
7 Unclip intake port shutoff actuator motor (M55) IMPORTANT Unlatch clip (4), turn linkage and unlatch second clip.  
8 Remove screw/bolts (5)    
9 Remove intake port shutoff actuator motor (M55)    
INSTALLING Install     
10 Insert intake port shutoff actuator motor (M55)    
11 Unclip intake port shutoff actuator motor (M55) IMPORTANT Clips should not be used again and must be replaced.  
12 Tighten screw/bolts (5) IMPORTANT Install intake port shutoff actuator motor (M55) free of tension.  
13 Crate electrical connection on intake port shutoff actuator motor (M55)    
14 Secure engine cable duct (1) Except model 222
IMPORTANT Screw in screw/bolts (2).		  
15 Install oil supply connection fitting for turbocharger MODEL 204 AR09.40-P-6023CO
    MODEL 207, 212, 218, 222
NOTES
Replace seal.
This prevents leaks occurring.		 AR09.40-P-6023SXI 
16 Install turbocharger MODEL 204 AR09.40-P-6020CO
    MODEL 207, 212, 218, 222 AR09.40-P-6020OGE 
17 Mount bracket (3) Only on model 204
IMPORTANT Press on bracket (3) at turbocharger and contact screw/bolt to turbocharger. Then tighten the threaded connection at the intake port shutoff and charge air manifold. Tighten screw/bolt on turbocharger last.		  
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Intake port shutoff bracket bolt to intake manifold and turbocharger *BA09.20-P-1003-01Q 
18 Depress lever for intake port shutoff (6) at end stop (arrow)    
19 Tighten screw/bolt at fastener for intake port shutoff lever (6) NOTES
When adjusting inlet port shutoff linkage ensure that intake port shutoff actuator motor (M55) is held by a spring without electric power in the mechanical basic position. This position must not be changed or affected by the adjustment procedure.
Malfunctions can occur on the intake port shutoff otherwise.		  
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Fastener bolt to intake port shutoff lever *BA09.20-P-1002-01Q 
20 Install engine cover
