| 3 | Detach electrical wiring harness (8) from intermediate plate (4) and set aside | ||
| 4 | Open lock tab (6) | Engine damage will occur otherwise. |

| 5 | Remove screw/bolts (5) | The intake manifold will be damaged otherwise. |

| 6 | Remove retaining frame (2) with seal (3) from intermediate plate (4) | ||
| 7 | Remove intermediate plate (4) from intake manifold upper part | ||

| 8 | Check intake manifold lower part (1) and intermediate plate (4) for external damage and replace if necessary | ||
| 9 | Check electrical wiring harness (8) for external damage and replace if necessary | ||
| 10 | Install in the reverse order |
