| 8 | Support rear axle carrier (4) at differential (50) using transmission jack and transmission plate and lash down securely | ||
| 9 | Remove bolts (2) from rubber mounts (1) | It is essential that threads in the frame floor assembly are recut and blown out. Adhesive residue in the thread will prevent the bolt from achieving the required preload force, even when tightened to the specified torque and specified angle of rotation. If this is not observed, then the faulty bolt preload force will cause bending forces to act on the bolt, which could ultimately lead to bolt fracture. |
