	Remove/install
	Risk of death when touching components on vehicles with high-voltage on-board electrical system	Do not touch components and open lines of the high-voltage on-board electrical system. Persons who wear electronic implants (e.g. cardiac pacemakers), must not carry out any work on high-voltage on-board electrical systems.	AS54.00-Z-0001-01A
1	Disconnect battery ground line		AR54.10-P-0003EW
2	Remove fan unit		AR20.40-P-5050EW
3	Disconnect electrical connection (1) and remove electrical line (2) from bracket (3) and the electrical A/C compressor (A9/5)	Replace cable tie.
4	Remove screw/bolts (4), take vacuum pump (M56) out of the bracket (3) and place to one side
5	Slacken poly-V belt		AR13.22-P-3902-01T
	Pin for locking poly-V belt tensioning device		WF58.50-P-1325-02A
		Tighten poly-V-belt. ↓ Tension poly-V belt	WF58.50-P-1325-02A
		Tighten poly-V-belt. ↓ Tension poly-V belt	AR13.22-P-3902-04T
6	Remove screw/bolts (5) and place the electrical A/C compressor (A9/5) to one side until the screw/bolts (6) are accessible	Handle the electrical A/C compressor (A9/5) carefully. The attached refrigerant line can get damaged otherwise.
6		Bolt, A/C compressor to major assembly carrier	*BA83.55-P-1001-01W
7	Remove screw/bolts (6) and carefully lay the alternator (G2) to the front until the electrical connections on the rear side of the alternator are accessible
8	Remove cap (7), unscrew nut below and remove electrical line (8) from alternator (G2)	Nut, circuit B+ to alternator	*BA15.40-P-1001-01Q
9	Disconnect Electrical connection (9)
10	Pull alternator (G2) forward and upward to remove	Handle the electrical A/C compressor (A9/5) carefully. The attached refrigerant line can get damaged otherwise. To remove the alternator (G2) an assistant is needed to lift the electrical A/C compressor (A9/5) and to hold it.
11	Install in the reverse order
