1	Open engine hood and raise to vertical position	MODEL 166, 212, 218, 251

2	Remove engine cover (5)	Ensure correct seating of the engine cover (5).

4	Remove air filter housing (6) on left	MODEL 166, 212 with ENGINE 276.8

5.2	Remove center and right sections of bulkhead	MODEL 166 with ENGINE 276
6	Remove left noise insulation (8)	MODEL 166, 212 with ENGINE 276.8 Ensure correct seating of the left noise insulation (8).
7	Detach vacuum line (2) at vacuum pump (1).
8	Detach vacuum hose (4) from vacuum pump (1)
9	Remove bolts (3)	Replace bolts (3).

10	Remove vacuum pump (1) upwards	Clean sealing surfaces and replace gasket. Note position of drive plate for vacuum pump (1) during assembly.
11	Install in the reverse order
	Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
