Remove/install multi-disk brake B1 and oil pump - AR27.50-P-0721W

REMOVING Remove

1 Remove drive unit   AR27.50-P-0612W 
NOTES Cleanliness is essential when working on the transmission.
Otherwise, even the smallest foreign particle in the hydraulic components of the transmission can lead to malfunctions or a total failure of the transmission.
IMPORTANT For cleaning, use lint-free cleaning cloth. Chamois leathers are the most suitable.
IMPORTANT The drive unit consists of the drive shaft, multidisk clutch K2, front planet carrier, internal plate carrier, multidisk clutch K1 and multidisk brake B3.
2.1 Remove bolts (17a) and remove oil pump (17) TRANSMISSION 722.9 (except 722.93)
IMPORTANT Screw two opposing bolts (17a) into housing (17g) and loosen oil pump (17) by applying gentle blows using a plastic mallet. The impellers (17r, 17z) lie loose in the housing (17g).		  
2.2 Remove rotor of electric machine TRANSMISSION 724.2 in MODEL 212.095/098/195/298

3 Unscrew bolts (16a) and remove multidisk brake (16) IMPORTANT Loosen the multidisk brake (16) by applying gentle blows using a plastic mallet.
Depending on findings: Replace multidisk brake (16).

Disassemble/assemble multi-disk brake B1 AR27.50-P-0870W 
4 Remove seal (1d)    
INSTALLING Install     
5 Place seal (1d) on torque converter housing or clutch housing (1w) and align IMPORTANT The seal (1d) can normally be reused several times. The seal (1d) must not exhibit any scratches and must not be coated with sealant.  
6 Attach multidisk brake (16) to torque converter housing or clutch housing (1w) NOTES Apply oil to transmission components before installation.
Damage can otherwise occur during the startup phase when the transmission is being put into service.
IMPORTANT The installation position is predetermined by a dowel pin on the multidisk brake (16).

7.1 Attach oil pump (17) TRANSMISSION 722.9 (except 722.93)
IMPORTANT Replace radial sealing ring and O-ring (17o).
Insert the impeller (17r) in such a way that the chamfer (arrow) points toward the housing (17g).
