Remove/install end cover - AR01.40-P-8913SXI

REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove flywheel/drive plate   AR03.30-P-8001SXI
2 Remove screw/bolts (1)    
3 Remove end cover (2)    
CLEAN Clean     
4 Clean contact surface on cylinder crankcase and oil pan   AR01.00-P-0050-01A
Loctite 7063 cleaning spray (150 ml) *BR00.45-Z-1046-04A 
Loctite 7200 *BR00.45-Z-1038-04A 
INSTALLING Install     
5 Install end cover (2)   AR03.20-P-3063-01OM
NOTES The end cover (2) must be completely replaced since radial shaft sealing ring (3) in end cover 2) is vulcanized in. The notes on sealant application and on correct installation of the end cover (2) must also be strictly observed.
This prevents leaks occurring.

8 Check engine oil level ENGINE 642 in MODEL 222 AR18.00-P-3035-01LFD

NOTES Vehicle must be horizontal and standing on its wheels.
This prevents measurement errors occurring.
IMPORTANT Check engine oil level about 5 min. after switching off warm engine.		  
FLUID SPECIFICATION Engine oil *BF18.00-P-1001-01A 
FLUID SPECIFICATION Engine oil *BF18.00-P-1001-01S 
DANGER Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
9 Check engine for leaktightness IMPORTANT To do this, perform an engine test run.
