| 1 | Connect up STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out variant coding from fuel pump control unit (N118) | When replacing the FSCU (N118). |

| 3 | Remove paneling on weatherstrip (1) | ||
| 4 | Detach weatherstrip (1) in the area of the FSCU (N118) | ||
| 5 | Unscrew nut for the right sidebag paneling (2) below | ||
| 6 | Carefully pull the sidebag paneling (2) upwards and place to one side | ||
| 7 | Push release button (3a) downwards and remove FSCU (N118) in direction of the arrow out of the bracket (3) | ||
| 8 | Unlock electrical connectors at fuel pump control unit (N118) and disconnect | ||
| 9 | Install in the reverse order | ||
