| 1 | Remove folding roof drive cable | AR77.30-P-1104MCO | |
| 2 | Remove roof cassette seals (4) | AR77.30-P-1109MCO | |
| 3 | Unscrew bolts (5) on both sides of rear soft to (2) | ||
| 4 | Unscrew bolts (3, 6) on both sides of rear soft top (2) | ||
| 5 | Unhook rear soft top (2) from roof cassette (8) and fold toward rear | ||
| 6 | Unscrew bolts (9, 10) from left and right roof cassette lock (7) | ||
| 7 | Remove left and right roof cassette lock (7) from roof cassette (8) | Check position of nuts (15) in roof cassette (8) ↓ If required, reposition nuts (15) in roof cassette (8). |

| 8 | Unscrew bolt (11) from left and right roof cassette lock (7) | ||
| 9 | Remove left and right roof cassette lock (7) from guide tube (1) | ||
| 10 | Remove retainer (12) from retaining bolts on left roof cassette microswitch (S84/38) and right roof cassette microswitch (S84/40) with suitable tool | Do not damage retaining bolts. Otherwise the electrical wiring harness must be replaced. |

| 11 | Lift spring (13) on left roof cassette microswitch (S84/38) out of cutout in left roof cassette lock (7) with suitable tool and remove left roof cassette microswitch (S84/38) | When removing left roof cassette lock (7). Do not bend or damage spring (13) on left roof cassette microswitch (S84/38). Otherwise malfunction can occur and the soft top can be damaged. |

| 12 | Lift spring (13) on right roof cassette microswitch (S84/40) out of cutout in roof cassette lock (7) with suitable tool and remove right roof cassette microswitch (S84/40) | When removing right roof cassette lock (7). Do not bend or damage spring (13) on right roof cassette microswitch (S84/40). Otherwise malfunction can occur and the soft top can be damaged. |

| 13 | Unscrew bolts (16) and bolt (19) from roof cassette plug (7) and carrier plate (17) | ||
| 14 | Unscrew bolt (18) at rear of roof cassette plug (7) | ||
| 15 | Remove carrier plate (17) from roof cassette plug (7) | When removing left carrier plate (17), do not bend or damage spring (13) on folding soft top microswitch (S84/37). Otherwise malfunction can occur and the soft top can be damaged. |

| 16 | Open catch hook (14) and remove soft top microswitch (S84/37) | When removing left roof cassette lock (7). Do not damage retaining bolts on rear of soft top microswitch (S84/37). Otherwise the electrical wiring harness must be replaced. |

| 17 | Install in the reverse order |
