Remove/install soft top drive cable - AR77.30-P-1104MCO

IMPORTANT Notes on soft tops   AH77.30-P-0001-01MCO
REMOVING Remove     
1.1 Remove folding roof (1) Model 451.4 AR77.30-P-1100MCO 
1.2 Detach folding roof (1) from roof cassette and unhook drive cables (6) from left and right slide plates (10) Model 453.4 AR77.30-P-1100MCO 
2 Remove cover (2) Model 451.4  
3 Unscrew nuts (3) and remove housing cover (4) IMPORTANT Model 453.4
The housing cover (4) is fastened with bolts instead of nuts (3).
 
4 Lift guide tube (5) on drive cable (6)    
5 Pull drive cable (6) out of guides (9) NOTES
Observe installation locations of drive cables (6).
Otherwise the folding roof (1) may suffer malfunction or damage.
 
INSTALLING Install     
6 Insert drive cable (6) into guides (9) until the distance (A) between ends of drive cable (6) and guides (9) is same on left and right NOTES
Observe installation locations of drive cables (6).
Otherwise the folding roof (1) may suffer malfunction or damage.
 
7 Align pinion (7) and insert guide tubes (5) and drive cables (6) in housing (8)    
8 Put on housing cover (4) and position nuts (3) IMPORTANT Model 453.4
The housing cover (4) is fastened with bolts instead of nuts (3).
 
9 Check distance (A) between drive cable (6) and guides (9) IMPORTANT The ends of the drive cable (6) should have the same distance (A) to the guides (9) on left and right.
If deviations are present

Take off housing cover (4), lift guide tubes (5), correct position of drive cables (6) and attach housing cover. Then perform operation steps 7 to 9 again
 
10 Tighten nuts (3) IMPORTANT Model 453.4
The housing cover (4) is fastened with bolts instead of nuts (3).
 
11 Install cover (2) Model 451.4  
12.1 Install folding roof (1) Model 451.4 AR77.30-P-1100MCO 
12.2 Hook drive cables (6) into left and right slide plates (10) and attach folding roof (1) to roof cassette Model 453.4 AR77.30-P-1100MCO
