Rear Seat Outer Belt Assembly: Removal
CAUTION:
Always use "TORX" socket wrench E10 when removing the rear seat.
HINT:
The procedure described below is for the RH side. Use the same procedure for both the RH and LH sides, unless otherwise specified.
- REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE NO. 1 REAR SEAT LEG COVER (for RH Side) (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE NO. 1 REAR SEAT LEG COVER (for LH Side) (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE NO. 2 REAR SEAT LEG COVER (for LH Side) (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP
- Remove the rear door opening trim weatherstrip to the extent that the deck trim side panel and roof side inner garnish can be removed.
- REMOVE REAR DECK TRIM COVER (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY
- Remove the belt of the rear seat outer belt from the rear seat shoulder belt hanger.
- Remove the bolt.
- Disengage the clip and remove the rear seat outer belt anchor plate.
- Remove the screw.
- Disengage the 3 clips and the 7 claws and remove the deck trim side panel.
HINT:
When removing the deck trim side panel assembly LH, disconnect the room light connector and remove the deck trim side panel.
- REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT HANGER
- Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear seat shoulder belt hanger.
- REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY
- Remove the bolt and the through anchor.
- Remove the bolt, the 2 hooks and the retractor.
- REMOVE SEAT BELT HOLE SEAL
- Disengage the 2 claws and remove the seat belt hole seal.
