Checking ATF

- Undo oil inspection plug only when temperature reaches 40°C.

- A certain amount of oil will always be lost after unscrewing the oil inspection plug. The reason for this is that some oil remains on the plug in the lifting tube.
- Remove engine guard. → Removing engine guard
Information
- Secure vehicle to prevent it rolling away.
- Vehicle must be horizontal in order to check ATF.
- Move selector lever to position N and continue the test process at idle speed.
- Unscrew oil inspection plug -2- .
- The oil level is correct when oil emerges at the lifting tube. If this is not the case, top up ATF. → Topping Up ATF
- Screw in oil inspection plug -2- . → Tightening torque: 70 Nm (52 ft lbs.)
- Move selector lever to position P and switch off engine.
- Fit engine guard. → Installing engine guard
