Preliminary Work

  1. Before the generator can be removed, the battery must be disconnected and the terminal covered. → Connecting And Disconnecting Battery
  2. Remove air box for throttle housing (intake manifold). → Removing air box for throttle housing (intake pipe upstream of throttle valve)
  3. Remove air cleaner housing lid. → Removing and installing air-cleaner element
  4. Remove engine guard. → Removing engine guard
  5. Drain coolant. → Draining coolant
  6. Remove belt tensioner. → Removing belt tensioner
