Installing Wire Harness For Tailgate At The Left

Guide wire harness -1- forward through the cut-outs in the roof -arrow- .

Clip connector for connection point into the bracket -L- .

Plug in electric plug connections for the connection point -G, H- until the connectors engage securely.

Insert connection point for water spray line -F- and lock it -E- .

Pull wire harness -1- through the tailgate -D- and insert rubber sleeve -9- .

Secure wire harness -1- to bracket -8- with adhesive tape.
Secure wire harness -1- to bracket -7- with adhesive tape -C- .

Clip in fixing clips -6- for wire harness for tailgate.

Plug in and lock electric plug connections for the antenna amplifier control unit. → INSTALLING CONTROL UNIT FOR ANTENNA AMPLIFIER - section on "Installing"
Plug in electric plug connection for rear window heating.
Plug in and lock electric plug connection for the wiper motor. → INSTALLING WIPER MOTOR - section on "Installing"
Fit and lock water spray line. → INSTALLING WIPER MOTOR - section on "Installing"
Pull wire harness -1- outwards -B- and press rubber sleeve -5- outwards from the inside.

Pull wire harness -1- outwards -A- and press rubber sleeve -4- outwards from the inside -A- .

Connect ground line -1- to the antenna control unit and tighten fastening screw -3- . Tightening Torque 9 Nm (6.5 ft. lb.)
