Preliminary Work

  1. Remove engine guard. → REMOVING ENGINE GUARD

  2. Support the engine on the body. → WM 1001IN SUPPORTING THE ENGINE ON THE BODY (CAYENNE GTS, CAYENNE TURBO S, CAYENNE S HYBRID, CAYENNE S E, CAYENNE TURBO, CAYENNE (3.0))
  3. Remove the front-axle carrier. → REMOVING FRONT-AXLE CARRIER
  4. Remove engine carrier. → REMOVING ENGINE CARRIER

    Information 

    • Collect oil in a clean container so that it can be re-used  .
  5. Loosen oil drain plug -arrow-  and collect engine oil in a container.

    Dispose of waste oil in accordance with legal requirements  .

  6. Replace oil drain plug -arrow-  . → Tightening torque: 30 Nm (22 ftlb.)
