Preliminary Work: Notes

Information 

Different preliminary work is required, depending on the equipment variant.

1. Remove seat-belt buckle. → REMOVING FRONT SEAT-BELT BUCKLE .
2. Remove front seat extension (only for seats with electric seat extension). →
3. Remove control unit for memory seat adjustment (only for seats without active seat ventilation). →REMOVING OCCUPANT DETECTION CONTROL UNIT .
4. Remove occupant detection control unit (passenger seat only for USA/Canada and Mexico vehicles). → REMOVING OCCUPANT DETECTION CONTROL UNIT .
5. Remove wire harness for electrically adjustable seat at the seat frame. → REMOVING WIRE HARNESS FOR POWER SEATS .
