Preliminary work

  1. Disconnect the battery. → Disconnecting And Connecting The Battery
  2. Remove the front seat. → Removing Front Seat - section on "Removing"
  3. Mount the front seat on the assembly fixture. → Mounting Front Seat On Assembly Fixture
  4. Remove control unit for memory seat adjustment. → Removing Control Unit For Memory Seat Adjustment - section on "Removing"
  5. Remove suction fan for seat surface. → Removing Suction Fan For Seat Surface - section on "Removing"

    Information 

    Only required for wire harness for suction fan and seat heating.

  6. Remove covering for middle backrest. → Removing Cover For Front Middle Backrest - section on "Removing"

    Information 

    Only required for wire harness for suction fan and seat heating.

  7. Loosen covering for front backrest on the left side until you can reach the backrest cover. → Removing Cover For Front Backrest - section on "Removing"

  8. Remove backrest cover on the left side at the inside and outside. → Removing Cover For Backrest - section on "Removing"
