Installing Wire Harness For Seat Surface (Front Seat)

Information 

Observe connector assignment!

Connect blue  connector to the motor for fore-and-aft adjustment.

Connect white  connector to the motor for front vertical adjustment.

Connect yellow  connector to the motor for rear vertical adjustment.

1. X  - Wire harness for control unit for memory seat adjustment - seat adjustment motors
2. Y  - Wire harness for seat adjustment switch - control unit for memory seat adjustment
3. Z  - Wire harness for central connector - suction fan for seat surface and backrest

1. Connector (grey) for control unit for memory seat adjustment (with memory only)
2. Connector for seat adjustment motor
3. Connector for motor for rear vertical adjustment
4. Connector for motor for front vertical adjustment
5. Connector (black) for control unit for memory seat adjustment (with memory only)
6. Connector for seat adjustment switch
7. Central connector
8. Connector for suction fan for seat surface
9. Connector for seat surface heating
10. Connector for middle backrest heating
11. Connector for suction fan for backrest
12. Line bracket
13. Tie-wraps

1. Route wire harness -Z-  at the underside of the seat and press it into the line brackets -12-  .
2. Slide wire harness -Z-  through in an upward direction -arrow A-  and secure with a new tie-wrap -13-  .

3. Plug in connector on suction fan for backrest -11-  (-arrow B-  ) until it engages securely.
4. Plug in connector on seat surface heating -9-  (-arrow-  ) until it engages securely.

5. Slide the three single connectors -3-  into the connector socket -1-  until they engage securely.

6. Fit a new tie-wrap -2-  on the connector socket -1-  .
7. Route wire harness -Y-  and secure with new tie-wraps -13-  .
8. Plug in connector -6-  on seat adjustment switch until they engage securely. → Installing Control Module Trim Panel - section on "Installing"
9. Route wire harness -X-  and secure with new tie-wraps -13-  .
10. Plug in connector -4-  (white  ) on motor for front vertical adjustment until it engages securely. → Installing Motor For Front Vertical Adjustment - section on "Installing"
11. Plug in connector -3-  (yellow  ) on motor for rear vertical adjustment until it engages securely. → Installing Motor For Rear Vertical Adjustment - section on "Installing"
12. Plug in connector -2-  (blue  ) on seat adjustment motor until it engages securely. → Installing Motor For Seat Adjustment - section on "Installing"
