Visual Inspection Of The Convoluted Air Bellows

Information 

• The convoluted air bellows on the cardan shafts may be damaged by external influences, e.g. during off-road driving or similar use. 
• Result: loss of a large amount of grease, dirt can get into the universal joint. 
• Premature replacement of the cardan shaft may be necessary. 

1. Remove engine guard → Removing engine guard .
2. Check the convoluted air bellows on the front cardan shaft for damage. To do this, gradually turn the cardan shaft by 180°.
3. Install engine guard → Installing engine guard .
