Removing Rear Lid Hinge

Remove rear window → Removing Rear Window .
Remove rear lid → Removing Rear Lid .
Remove hinge cover.
1. 3.1. Insert a plastic wedge between the body and hinge cover -1- .
2. 3.2. Carefully unclip and remove the hinge cover -1- .

Remove rear gas spring. → Removing Pneumatic Spring For Rear Lid .
On vehicles with an automatic rear lid, remove actuating cylinder. → Removing Actuating Cylinder For Rear Lid
Remove lid hinge.
1. 5.1. Undo fastening screws -2- .
2. 5.2. Remove lid hinge -3- to the rear.
