Installing hardtop

INSTALLING HARDTOP INSTRUCTIONS

No. Procedure Instructions
1 Open the locking lever The locking lever -2-  . See Fig 1 .
2 Remove plastic cover Lift plastic cover -6-  . See Fig 1 .
3 Put on the hardtop Carefully lift the hardtop over the vehicle from the rear and insert it into the mounts -7-  . See Fig 1 .
4 Close locking lever at the rear Pivot locks must be completely recessed in the pivot-pin locks; swivel both locking levers -4-  . See Fig 1 .
5 Close locking lever at the front Swivel locking lever -2-1-  . See Fig 1 .
6 Connect the electrical plug connection of the rear window heater Remove plastic cover of plug connection and push on rear window heating electric plug connection -5-  . See Fig 1 .
7 Push on cover of the front locking lever Push on cover -1-  . See Fig 1 .
8 Test the rear window heater Press symbol of the rocker switch -8-  . See Fig 1 .
  The first time the hardtop is put on the vehicle, check gaps and, if necessary, adjust hardtop See ADJUSTING THE HARDTOP  . Refer to DIAGRAM - GAP DIMENSIONS, HARDTOP .
