Adjusting the hardtop: Notes

ADJUSTING HARDTOP INSTRUCTIONS (STEPS 1-4)

| 1 | Remove trim panels of the rear hardtop locks | Unclip trim panel carefully. |
| 2 | Install hardtop | Refer to INSTALLING HARDTOP |
| 3 | Release rear hardtop locks | Loosen fastening screws -1 and 2- . See Fig 2 . |
| 4 | Laterally align the hardtop | Shift hardtop sideways along the rear locks until the gap -dimension A- . See Fig 2 . |

| 8 | Check whether the side windows operate smoothly and are tight | 1. Close side windows 2. Check position of the side windows in relation to the convertible top, see also: Refer to DISASSEMBLING AND ASSEMBLING DOOR . 3. If necessary, adjust side windows. If the windows are in contact with the hardtop at their end position, increase the gap at the hardtop (towards the max. value). If the side windows leak, decrease the gap at the hardtop at rear (towards the min. value). |
