Test 18A - Output Driver Not Tested
NOTE:
Perform TEST VER-1A - VERIFICATION TEST
after all repairs. Each time a connector is disconnected, inspect it to ensure it is in good condition. Always focus on circuit being tested. Dirt, water and corrosion, are most common problems in connectors. Due to manufacturer changes in wire colors, use terminal identification whenever possible.
- Repair all air bag fault messages before proceeding with this test. Turn ignition off and wait 2 minutes before proceeding. Turn ignition on (engine off). Using DRB, read active codes. If OUTPUT DRIVER NOT TESTED code is not present, previous repair corrected problem. Erase stored trouble codes. If OUTPUT DRIVER NOT TESTED code is present, go to next step.
- If no other active codes are present, perform TEST 1A - IDENTIFYING SYSTEM PROBLEMS . If other active codes are present, replace ACM.
