DTC Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK VIAS CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

Turn ignition switch OFF.

Disconnect VIAS control solenoid valve harness connector.

Turn ignition switch ON.

Check the voltage between VIAS control solenoid valve harness connector and ground

+		-	Voltage (Approx.)
VIAS control solenoid valve
Connector	Terminal
F75	1	Ground	Battery voltage

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 2.

Repair or replace error-detected parts.

CHECK VIAS CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE OUTPUT SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR OPEN AND SHORT

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect ECM harness connector.

Check harness continuity between ECM harness connector and VIAS control solenoid valve harness connector.

+		-		Continuity
ECM		VIAS control solenoid valve
Connector	Terminal	Connector	Terminal
F77	108	F75	2	Existed

Also check harness for short to ground and short to power.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3.

Repair open circuit or short to ground or short to power in harness or connectors.

CHECK VIAS CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE
Check VIAS control solenoid valve. Refer to Component Inspection (VIAS Control Solenoid Valve) .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident .

NO

Replace VIAS control solenoid valve. Refer to Exploded View .
