DTC Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK DTC OF ECM
With CONSULT
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Perform "Self Diagnostic Results" in "ENGINE".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 2.
NO
- Check DTC detected item.
Refer to DTC Index .
- CHECK DTC OF TCM
Perform "Self Diagnostic Results" in "TRANSMISSION".
Is any DTC other than "P0725" detected?
YES
- Check DTC detected item.
Refer to DTC Index .
NO
GO TO 3.
- Check DTC detected item.
- CHECK THE IGNITION SIGNAL CIRCUIT
- Start the engine.
- Select "Data Monitor" in "TRANSMISSION".
- Check for engine speed change corresponding to "ACCELE POSI" while monitoring "ENGINE SPEED".

YES
GO TO 4.
NO
- Check ignition signal circuit.
Refer to Component Function Check .
- CHECK TCM POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT
Check TCM power supply and ground circuit. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace the control valve with TCM. Refer to Exploded View .
NO
Repair or replace damaged parts.
