Component

Description

1.

ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit)

  • ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) transmits the vehicle speed signal (wheel speed), stop lamp signal and VDC/TCS/ABS system operation condition to ADAS control unit via CAN communication
  • ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) controls the brake, based on a brake fluid pressure control signal received from ADAS control unit via CAN communication
  • Refer to Component Parts Location (Type 1) or Component Parts Location (Type 2) for detailed installation location.

2.

TCM

  • TCM transmits the signal related to CVT control to ADAS control unit.
  • Refer to Component Parts Location (RE0F10J) for detailed installation location.

3.

ECM

  • ECM transmits the accelerator pedal position signal, ICC brake switch signal, stop lamp switch signal, ICC steering switch signal, etc. to ADAS control unit via CAN communication
  • Refer to Component Parts Location (VQ35DD) for detailed installation location.

4.

BCM

  • Transmits the turn indicator signal and position light request signal to ADAS control unit via CAN communication
  • Refer to Component Parts Location for detailed installation location.

Blind Spot Warning/Blind Spot Intervention indicator LH

6.

ADAS control unit

  • ADAS control unit calculates a target distance between vehicles and a target speed, based on signals received from each sensor and switch to transmit a brake fluid pressure control signal to ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) via CAN communication
  • ADAS control unit transmits the buzzer output signal to the ADAS control unit 2 via ITS communication
  • ADAS control unit transmits an accelerator pedal feedback force control signal to the accelerator pedal actuator via ITS communication

7.

Rear sonar sensors

  • Detects rear obstacle distance and transmits signal to sonar control unit.
  • Refer to Component Parts Location for detailed installation location.

8.

Blind Spot Warning/Blind Spot Intervention indicator RH

9.

Warning system switch

Refer to Warning Systems Switch / Warning Systems ON indicator 

10.

Steering angle sensor

  • Measures the rotation amount, rotation speed, and rotation direction of steering wheel, and then transmits them to ADAS control unit via CAN communication
  • Refer to Component Parts Location (Type 1) or Component Parts Location (Type 2) for detailed installation location.

11.

Combination meter

Performs the following operations using the signals received from the ADAS control unit via the CAN communication

  • Displays the system operation status using the meter display signal
  • Illuminates the system FEB warning lamp using the FEB warning lamp signal
  • Refer to Component Parts Location for detailed installation location.

12.

ICC steering switch

ECM receives an ICC steering switch (dynamic driver assistance switch) signal and transmits the signal to ADAS control unit via CAN communication

13.

BCI OFF switch (if equipped)

Refer to BCI Switch 

14.

Display control unit

  • Receives camera image signal from AVM control unit.
  • Refer to Component Parts Location for detailed installation location.

15.

AVM control unit

  • Receives the various systems and camera signals and routes them to the display control unit via CAN communication
  • Refer to Component Parts Location for detailed installation location.

16.

Lane camera unit (if equipped)

Refer to Lane Camera Unit 

17.

ICC brake hold relay (if equipped)

Refer to ICC Brake Hold Relay 

18.

Distance sensor (ICC sensor)

19.

Warning buzzer

ADAS control unit 2

21.

Sonar control unit

  • Transmits sonar buzzer signal to sound sonar buzzer.

Stop lamp switch

Sonar buzzer

  • Receives sonar buzzer signal from sonar control unit and buzzer sounds.
