Front Engine Mount Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Remove the splash shield (see SPLASH SHIELD REPLACEMENT ) and the front undercover (see FRONT UNDERCOVER REPLACEMENT ).
  2. Remove the engine cover (see step  6 under Engine Removal  ).
  3. Remove the radiator and fan shroud (see RADIATOR AND FAN REPLACEMENT ).
  4. Remove the front engine mount stop (A), then remove the front engine mount bolt (B).

  5. Remove the front engine mount mounting bolts (A).

  6. Lift and support the engine with a jack and a wood block under the engine/transmission.
  7. Remove the front engine mount (B), then disconnect the vacuum hose (C).
