DTC Confirmation Test "A"

  1. Turn ignition on. Select DATA MONITOR mode with scan tool. Ensure engine coolant temperature is less than 122°F (50°C). Start engine and let it idle for at least 8 seconds.
  2. If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE  . If 1st trip DTC is not detected, turn ignition off, wait at least 5 seconds and go to DTC CONFIRMATION TEST "B"  .
