Tachometer Will Not Operate

- Perform SIGNAL CHECK . If results are not okay, proceed to step 2). If results are okay, check ignition signal circuit. To do so, turn ignition switch to "ON" position. Measure voltage between terminal No. 3 (+) and No. 4 (-) of control unit wire harness. If circuit is okay, replace control unit. If circuit is not okay, check resistor and wire harness between tachometer and ignition coil.
- Perform DISPLAY UNIT CHECK . If results are okay, replace control unit. If results are not okay, proceed to step 3).
- Perform POWER UNIT CHECK to check power unit output voltage to tachometer. To do so, measure voltage between terminal VDL (Red) and GND (Black). If results are okay, replace display unit. If results are not okay, replace power unit.
