Fail-Safe Functions

When the LDW-ECU detects a malfunction, the warning light will illuminate or the system will be disabled.

- Intermittent malfunction detection Ignition switch: ON The following signals, which are received via CAN communication, are unfeasible.
  • Engine control module: Vehicle speed signal
  • ASC-ECU: Yaw rate and longitudinal and lateral acceleration of a vehicle signal
  • Steering wheel sensor: steering angle of the steering wheel signal
  • ETACS-ECU: brake pedal signal
