Diagnostic Procedure

STEP 1. Scan tool (M.U.T.-III) data list
- Item 04: Secondary pressure sensor signal (Refer to DATA LIST REFERENCE TABLE .)
Q: Is the check result normal?
1. YES: Intermittent malfunction
2. NO: Go to Step 2.
STEP 2. Check for open circuit and short to ground in LPRS, SGND, SSPW line between the TCM connector and the CVT assembly connector.
Q: Is the check result normal?
1. YES: Go to Step 3.
2. NO: Repair the connector(s) or wiring harness.
STEP 3. Symptom recheck after replacing the valve body assembly
Q: Is the check result normal?
1. YES: The inspection is complete.
2. NO: Replace TCM.
