Diagnostic Procedure

- STEP 1. Scan tool (M.U.T.-III) CAN bus diagnostics
Use scan tool (M.U.T.-III) to perform the CAN bus diagnosis.
Q: Is the check result normal?
- YES: Go to Step 2.
- NO: Repair the CAN bus lines (Refer to CAN BUS DIAGNOSTICS TABLE ).
- STEP 2. Check other DTCs.
Q: Are other diagnostic trouble codes stored?
- YES: Carry out the appropriate troubleshooting.
- NO: Go to Step 3.
- STEP 3. Scan tool (M.U.T.-III) data list
Item 19: Secondary pressure (Refer to DATA LIST TABLE .)
Q: Is the check result normal?
- YES: Intermittent malfunction
- NO: Go to Step 4.
- STEP 4. Line Pressure Check
Carry out "hydraulic test" (Refer to HYDRAULIC PRESSURE TEST ).
Q: Is the check result normal?
- YES: Go to Step 5.
- NO: Repair according to the hydraulic pressure diagnosis table.
- STEP 5. Symptom recheck after erasing DTC
Q: Is the check result normal?
- YES: Intermittent malfunction
- NO: Replace TCM.
