Diagnostic Procedure

  1. STEP 1. Check other DTCs. 

    Q: Are other diagnostic trouble codes stored? 

    1. YES:  Carry out the appropriate troubleshooting.
    2. NO:  Go to Step 2.
  2. STEP 2. Scan tool (M.U.T.-III) data list 

    Item 33: Line pressure solenoid output current (Refer to DATA LIST REFERENCE TABLE  .)

    Q: Is the check result normal? 

    1. YES:  Intermittent malfunction
    2. NO:  Go to Step 3.
  3. STEP 3. Line Pressure Check 

    Carry out "hydraulic test" (Refer to HYDRAULIC PRESSURE TEST  ).

    Q: Is the check result normal? 

    1. YES:  Go to Step 4.
    2. NO:  Repair according to the hydraulic pressure diagnosis table.
  4. STEP 4. Symptom recheck after erasing DTC 

    Q: Is the check result normal? 

    1. YES:  Intermittent malfunction
    2. NO:  Replace TCM.
