51 47 314 Removing and installing/replacing carpet for passenger compartment (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV)
Preliminary work needed:
- Remove both front seats. Refer to 52 13 001 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SEAT, DRIVER'S SIDE (COUNTRYMAN 2017-2023, EXCEPT PHEV) and 52 13 002 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SEAT, PASSENGER'S SIDE (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV) .
- Remove CENTER CONSOLE .
- Remove inner DOOR SILL COVER STRIPS .
- Remove TRIM PANEL FOR DOOR PILLAR (BOTTOM) on left and right
- Remove left and right SIDE CENTER CONSOLE TRIM PANEL .
- Remove ACCELERATOR PEDAL MODULE .
- Remove AIRBAG CONTROL UNIT .
- Remove COVER FOR CENTRAL BASS at front left/right
Removal
Cut carpet along the lines (1).
As far as possible, cut inwards.
Feed out cable and remove carpet.
Installation:
Replacement: Lay removed carpet over new carpet and transfer cuts (1) to new carpet.
Position carpet.
Feed in cable.
Completely install carpet.
Required reworking:
- Install AIRBAG CONTROL UNIT .
- Install ACCELERATOR PEDAL MODULE .
- Fit TRIM PANEL FOR DOOR PILLAR (BOTTOM) ON LEFT AND RIGHT
- Install COVER FOR CENTRAL BASS at front left/right
- Install left and right SIDE CENTER CONSOLE TRIM PANEL .
- Install inner DOOR SILL COVER STRIPS .
- Install CENTER CONSOLE .
- Install both front seats. Refer to 52 13 001 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SEAT, DRIVER'S SIDE (COUNTRYMAN 2017-2023, EXCEPT PHEV) and 52 13 002 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SEAT, PASSENGER'S SIDE (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV) .
