65 12 051 Removing and installing/replacing central bass loudspeaker on driver's side (under front seat) - V.7 (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV)

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove front seat. Refer to 52 13 001 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SEAT, DRIVER'S SIDE - V.2 (COUNTRYMAN 2017-2023, EXCEPT PHEV) or 52 13 002 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SEAT, PASSENGER'S SIDE - V.2 (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV) .
• Remove DOOR SILL COVER STRIP .

Removal: 

Unscrew the screws (1).

Remove cover of bass speaker (2).

Fold up the carpet (1) as shown.

Unfasten plug connection (2) and disconnect.

Fold up carpet (1) slightly and release nuts (2) underneath.

Feed out bass speaker (3).

Installation: 

Feed in bass speaker (3).

Fold up carpet (1) slightly and tighten nuts (2) underneath.

Fold up the carpet (1) as shown.

Connect plug connection (2) and lock.

Position bass speaker cover (2).

Tighten down screws (1).

Required reworking: 

• Install front seat. Refer to 52 13 001 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SEAT, DRIVER'S SIDE - V.2 (COUNTRYMAN 2017-2023, EXCEPT PHEV) or 52 13 002 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SEAT, PASSENGER'S SIDE - V.2 (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV) .
• Install DOOR SILL COVER STRIP .
